The general mission of the Gallery at McMillan Art Center is to show excellence in art by purveying regular showings of artists' works with emphasis on masterworks accompanied by smaller works. The gallery will exhibit local artists, regional artists, and artists from around the country and farther if possible.  One of the intentions of the gallery will be to invite artists from outside of our region to add diversity complement the excellence of our area art community. As often as possible, call for entries will be made available with the intent of involving a wide range of the artistic community. We wish to inspire through involvement in the arts.   As an activities center, we wish to provide a place that builds a sense of community and encourages the idea of all the arts as an integral and non-separate aspect of the fabric of a healthy community. To that end, our facility is multi-purpose and will be made available at reasonable fees for a wide variety of artistic, community, and personal activities.   We hope you will look upon the McMillan Art Center as a place where you will feel welcome and comfortable, whether you are practicing your art, attending a performance, party, meeting, etc, or celebrating one of the rituals of your life.   Paul McMillan
